Vimal Patel, DDS
Dr. Vimal Patel was raised in Omaha, Nebraska. He attended Creighton University where he earned both his Bachelors of Science in Biology degree and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. Upon graduation, Dr. Patel began his career in Omaha, Nebraska before expanding his skill set and expertise at a practice in Springfield, Missouri. Shortly after their wedding, Dr. Patel and his wife, Anjali, a native Texan, moved to the North Texas area. While searching for the ideal place to raise a family, the couple fell in love with Prosper and decided to create Prosper Smiles Family Dentistry.
Dr. Patel is well-known for his great sense of humor and his commitment to providing the highest level of dental care. His believes in building a patient-centered dental practice, one that focuses on lasting patient relationships and providing a safe, comfortable office environment. In Dr. Patel’s words:
“I do not believe in over-diagnosing dental treatment. My main focus is to provide preventative services and education on good oral hygiene. My philosophy is to treat my patients like family.”
Dr. Patel’s professional affiliations include the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the North Texas Dental Association. He greatly enjoys attending dental conferences where he can refine his skills and learn about the latest innovations in dental procedures and technology. A huge proponent of dental technology, Dr. Patel has furnished his office with state-of-the-art equipment and materials to provide incredible care for his patients.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Patel enjoys running, strength training, watching movies, traveling with his wife, spending time with his family and friends, and giving back to the community.
